Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how the Just Puzzles apps (currently Yajilin) handle your information. It applies to the apps published by Just Puzzles on Google Play and to this website, just-puzzles.com.
The short version
Just Puzzles apps have no accounts and no ads, and your puzzle progress stays on your device. To improve the apps, we use Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports - but only if you agree. You are asked on first launch and can change your choice at any time in Settings.
Information stored on your device
To let you play, the app saves data locally on your device only, including:
- Your puzzle progress - marks, the loop, undo history, and elapsed time.
- Which puzzles you have completed, plus stats such as best times and streaks.
- Your settings - theme, language, and gameplay preferences.
This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Analytics & crash reporting
With your consent, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand how the app is used and to diagnose problems. When enabled, this may collect:
- Usage events - for example which screens you open and when a puzzle is started or solved.
- Crash and stability diagnostics, including error logs and the app’s state at the time.
- Technical details such as device model, operating-system version, app version, language, region, and a Firebase-generated app-installation identifier.
This data does not include your name or any account (there is no account), and it is never used for advertising. It is processed on our behalf by Google under the Firebase and Google privacy terms.
Your consent & choices
On first launch you choose whether to allow analytics and crash reporting. If you decline, collection stays off. You can change your choice at any time in the app’s Settings. Turning it off stops any further collection.
Google Play & purchases
The apps are distributed through the Google Play Store, and Google may collect information under its own privacy policy. If an app ever offers an optional purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play billing - we never receive or store your payment details.
Children
Just Puzzles apps are suitable for all ages and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and analytics is collected only with consent.
Deleting your data
Your on-device data is erased when you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. To stop analytics and crash reporting, decline or disable it in Settings. To request deletion of analytics data already collected, email us at support@just-puzzles.com and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we will update this policy and revise the date above before the change takes effect.
